I am home alone trying to purge myself of my children's food preferences.

Invercargill has made an amateur gardener out of me and. Pumpkin, silverbeet, beet, rhubarb are ready for picking.

So with fresh meat in the fridge I got veges out of my garden and cooked a meal up with them.

This is dedicated to my late 'greydad'. No less serving eight vegetables with dinners this plate is full of roasted, pan fried onion, homegrown potatoes, tomatoes. Blanched silverbeet and some purple leaves that I found in the calendulas. Cheap blade steak slowly fried.
